Landing at Delhi airport.You will be received at the airport and will be taken to the place of stay and relax after dinner.
Relaxed morning with bed tea and In house breakfast, recovering from jet lag with Gentle yoga stretches with Pranayama practice. Followed by half day Delhi heritage tour finishing with dinner.
Visit to Local Yoga Ashram at Delhi and will relax the peaceful atmosphere of the ashram and we will practice yoga and guided meditation. After Lunch, enjoy roaming around and shopping in local markets of Delhi.
We will leave for Agra by road. On route we will stop to explore the ancient capital city Fatehpur Sikri which involves up to one hour of easy walking. Reaching Agra in the evening- Home to the world-famous Taj Mahal. Agra rose to fame in the medieval period as the capital of the Mughal Empire and was beautified with gardens, waterfalls, bathhouses and canals.
Travel to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was given a colour of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since it has retained this colour. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight is at hotel.
This morning visits the Maharaja's City Palaceto explore the former royal residence; Jantar Mantar, the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. The observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Enjoy a walk around the local markets inside the walled city before returning to your hotel.
Arriving at the base of Amer Fort, you will board our jeep for a ride all the way up to the entrance of the fort. Inside you will visit the Hall of Victory which houses the famed Sheesh Mahal. Also, visit Anokhi Museum themselves are encouraged to visit and view their craft in a unique and inspirational way.
After check-out this morning &head to Jaipur airport for your flight to Dehradun (via Delhi). Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met and assisted to board your onward flight to Dehradun. Upon arrival in Dehradun, you will be met and assisted to commence your drive to Rishikesh. (45kms- 2hours). In the evening, witnessAarti ceremony at Triveni Ghat.
There will be two-day Yoga retreat to delve into deeper understanding on how yoga practices help us heal and energise inside out. You will get to understand the yogic way of life and that could lead you to discover how yogic practice can transform your life into something more meaningful. It will give you the opportunity to understand yoga in the very place of its origin from teachers who are masters of the discipline. The special sattvic food, will help you grow healthier and as you improve your asana skills you will become stronger.
Meditation and chanting will flood you with aninner sense of peace. By following the scheduled routine, you will not only invite discipline into your life, but you will find that you are more relaxed. Relaxation will lead you to spiritual discovery that will open wide your mind to a new way of thinking. This holiday and yoga practice willopen new horizons for you and you may discover that you would like to make yoga practice as part of your daily routine seeing as how this retreat benefitted you. After breakfast, depending on your flight time, we will proceed to Delhi from Rishikesh. You will be transfer to the airport for your return flight to the Australia arriving home the same or following day.
